Glenys Stiff

From all of us here at Cardiff Combination Football League, we are saddened to hear the shock and sudden death of Glenys Stiff recently.

Glenys and her brother Keith Harris were the children of Avenue Hotspur founder and former committee member Ken Harris.

Ken held numerous positions during his tenure including secretary, chairman and president.

Glenys served so many years on the league, helping her Dad and held a number of roles, including minute’s secretary, and was devoted to the Combination and will be fondly remembered by us all.

Our condolences go out to all the Harris/Stiff family during this sad times and she will never be forgotten for what she brought to our league.

League secretary Tito Girolami said on Facebook: “So sad to hear the news of the Passing of Glenys. Such a loss to all. Glenys like her father Ken and brother Keith was a beacon of positive light to Avenue and was also a much valued and respected member of the Cardiff Combination League.

“Our heartfelt condolences go to the Family at this time of great loss. Rest in peace. Never forgotten.”
